What Is Acne Scarring?

How We Perform Microneedling
Beginning with a consultation, we will typically schedule about five to seven treatment sessions. At each treatment your facial area will be numbed, and our practitioner will use our microneedling pen to create hundreds of tiny channel wounds in the skin, stimulating new collagen for skin repair.
For a week or so after each treatment session, the skin heals as the body sends nutrients to the affected areas. Adjacent skin tissue that hasn’t been pricked serves as the template for the newer skin growth.

The greatest benefit of microneedling is the resulting increase in the amount of collagen in the skin. After you’ve completed your treatment schedule, your skin will continue to improve in terms of texture and tone.
